Schedulista integrates with Stripe's payment processing services to allow you to take payments online.* Once your Stripe account is set up and connected, you can require clients to pay when they book online or you can use credit card capture to hold their credit or debit card on file for potential payments.

If you'd like to use another payment processor, you can link to the processor's payment page.

*Note: Payment services via Stripe are not available in every country. Check to see if your country is supported here.

Payment alternatives

  • Another payment processor for credit & debit cards

  • Invoicing through Stripe to offer other payments times, including:

    • ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay, installment payment services ("buy now, pay later") like Affirm and Klarna, or Cash App payment transfer

  • Linking to a payment transfer service like PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, etc.

You're not required to take payments, but we currently only work with Stripe for payments taken through the online scheduler.

If you'd like to use an alternative, you can add a link in two ways/places:

The second option also appears on the online appointment summary page that clients can access through the emails, the text reminders, and if they've added the appointment to their personal calendar.

Note about adding links to alternate payment options

Only Schedulista's integration with Stripe allows the possibility of automatically charging the client for payment while booking. When you add a link to an alternate payment option, the client is able to schedule the appointment without payment or securing the appointment with a credit or debit card. They will not be automatically charged for payment.
