Week view available in mobile app version 7.3.1 and above

Schedulista provides a calendar for each user to view and manage their appointments and their availability. The calendar can be accessed on the web app and in the mobile app.

The mobile app calendar offers multiple interactive views to help you oversee your schedule: Day view, Month view, and Week view.

Note on viewing multiple calendars

Only a single calendar can be viewed at one time in the mobile app. If you have multiple providers or multiple calendars on your business account, any user with Administrator or Scheduler level of access can view all calendars. In the mobile app, you can switch between providers to view another calendar.

If you need to view multiple calendars at one time, you can use the Day view of the calendar on the web app.

Contents:

Day view

The Day view is the main view of the Calendar tab in the mobile app. This view shows a single day and allows you to see the full 24 hours. Tap on appointments to view or edit the appointment details.

Current time

Whenever you open the app anew, the current hour block should appear near the top of the page.

For example, if you open the app at 9:36 am, the 9am - 10am block should appear near the top third of the screen. If you open the app at 4:10 pm [16.10] , the 4pm - 5pm [16:00 - 17:00] should appear near the top.) As the calendar shows until midnight, later hours of the day may not appear near the top of the page.

Work hours

Your set work hours for the online scheduler are signified by the lighter time blocks. The darker time blocks are outside your set work hours. Clients can only book through the online scheduler during your work hours, but as a provider, you can set appointments at any time on your calendar.

The default calendar view is in 30-minute blocks. You can change this to 15-minute blocks ("Zoom in") on the Calendar Settings page. You can also adjust your regular work hours or set a daily override on the page.

To access the Calendar Settings page, tap on the Calendar Settings icon on the top of the Calendar tab page (top left on iOS; top right next to the Add Appointment plus [+] symbol on Android).

Switch day

You can switch the day by using the forward and back arrows near the top right of the page. You can also swipe right and left to change days. To easily return to the current day, double-tap on the Day tab at the top of the page.

Set appointment in Day view

You can set an appointment or add a class by either double-tapping on or pressing and holding on the time block on the calendar on the day you want to schedule the appointment.

A Create Appointment menu will appear at the bottom of the page with the options to set a personal appointment to block out time on your schedule or a service appointment (or class) for a client.

You can also tap on the Add Appointment plus (+) symbol on the top right. This will use the date you are viewing on the calendar and the nearest hour to your current time. You can tap on both the date and time in the appointment details to change, if needed.

Month view

The Month view of the calendar provides a broad look at a month on your schedule. Tap on the Month tab at the top of the Calendar tab to switch to the Month view.

Daily agenda

Each day with a scheduled service appointment will have a dot below the date on the month calendar.

Tapping on a specific day of the month will show you an agenda view of that day's appointments, including any personal appointments set and any Google Calendar appointments/events, if you are using the Google Calendar Sync.

Tap on an appointment in the day's agenda to view or edit appointment details.

A day with just personal appointments and/or Google Calendar events will not have a dot below the date. You will still see these appointments on the day's agenda when you tap on a day without a dot.

View full day

When you select a day in the Month view, tap the Day tab at the top of the page to view the full day's calendar. Tap the Month tab to return to the Month view.

Switch month

You can switch the month by using the forward and back arrows near the top right of the page. You can also swipe right and left to change months. To easily return to the current month, double-tap on the Month tab at the top of the page.

Set appointment in Month view

You can set an appointment or add a class in the Month view by tapping on the Add Appointment plus (+) symbol on the top right of the page.

A menu will appear at the bottom of the page with the options to set a personal appointment to block out time on your schedule or a service appointment (or class) for a client.

This will use the current date selected in the Month view and the nearest hour to your current time. You can tap on both the date and time in the appointment details to change, if needed.

Week view

Available in mobile app version 7.3.1 and above

The Week view of the calendar allows you to quickly view your full schedule for the week. This view mirrors the Week view of the calendar on the web app. The current day is signified by a yellow/gold bar beneath the date at the top of the column.

Accessing the Week view

On the Day view or Month view of the calendar, physically turn your phone to the left or the right to view the Week view of the calendar in landscape mode. Make sure to disable your phone's orientation lock so that it can move from portrait to landscape mode.

Accessing the Week view on tablets

If you are using the mobile app on a tablet (iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, etc.), a Week tab will appear at the top of the page with the Day and Month tabs while in landscape mode. Tap on the Week tab to access the Week view.

Work hours

Your set work hours for the online scheduler are signified by the lighter time blocks. The time blocks with checked lines are outside your set work hours.

To access the Calendar Settings page, turn your phone back to portrait view to return to the Day view, then tap on the Calendar Settings icon on the top of the Calendar tab page (top left on iOS; top right next to the Add Appointment plus [+] symbol on Android).

Switch week

You can switch the week by using the forward and back arrows near the top right of the page. You can also swipe right and left to change weeks. On tablets, to easily return to the current month, double-tap on the Week tab at the top of the page.

Set appointment in Week view

You can set an appointment or add a class by either double-tapping on or pressing and holding on the time block on the calendar on the day you want to schedule the appointment.

A Create Appointment menu will appear at the bottom of the page with the options to set a personal appointment to block out time on your schedule or a service appointment (or class) for a client.

You can also tap on the plus (+) symbol in the green circle on the bottom right of the Week view to add an appointment.

This will use the day of the week (Monday, Thursday, etc.) you were last on in the Day view for the week you are currently viewing on the calendar. (For example, if you were last viewing Wednesday, March 2 in the Day view, and in the Week view you switched to the week of June 12-18, adding an appointment with the plus [+] symbol will select Wednesday, June 15.) It will use the nearest hour to your current time.

You can tap on both the date and time in the appointment details to change, if needed.
