An overview of your calendar(s) in the Schedulista mobile app

The Schedulista mobile app for iPhone and Android is a companion to your account to help manage your business on the go. With it you will be able to view and manage your calendar and all other calendars to which you have access.

Benefits of the calendar

  • View your appointments by day or by month

  • Set, cancel, or reschedule appointments quickly

  • Open appointments to view or edit all details

  • Set personal appointments to block out time you are unavailable

  • Set or update your regular weekly work hours or set daily overrides to change hours for a specific day, take a day off, or make available a day normally off

What's on the calendar

Identifying to various elements on the Calendar tab in the mobile app.

Each number below corresponds to the number in the image above.

1. Calendar view selector
Tap on Day or Month to switch the view of the calendar.

2. Provider name
The name of the provider/calendar you are currently viewing.

3. Date
The date of the current day you are viewing. The present day is referred to as Today. The day before and the day after the present day are referred to as Yesterday and Tomorrow, respectively.

4. Blue appointment blocks
Appointments that were set by you (or another provider on a multi-user account) directly on your calendar.

5. Grey space
This is time on the calendar outside of your set availability ("work hours") for the day. You are able to set appointments at any time in the grey space. Clients are not able to book during this time through the online scheduler.

6. Clients tab
Tap this tab to view a list of all of your clients. Users on a multi-user account with Provider level of access will not have this tab icon when using the mobile app.

7. Calendar tab
Tap this tab to return to the calendar if you navigate away.

8. Settings tab
Tap this tab to sign out of the app, switch businesses (if you are a user on multiple business accounts), visit our support help center, or contact us for support.

9. Activities tab
Tap this tab to view a chronological list of appointments booked, cancelled, or rescheduled on your business account. Each activity will indicate if this was done on the provider side (and which provider) or by the client.

10. Green appointment blocks
Appointments that were booked by clients through the online scheduler.

11. Red appointment blocks
Personal appointments blocking out time in your schedule when you are unavailable.

12. White space
This is time on your calendar when you are available to offer services based on the work hours you set. Clients can only book appointments through the online scheduler during this time.

13. Day selector
Go forward or back through days on the calendar.

14. Add appointment
The Plus (+) sign allows you to add an appointment to your calendar.  You will be given the choice of a Personal appointment to block out time or a Service appointment to set an appointment with a client. You can also double tap on a time directly on the calendar to set an appointment.

15. Calendar Settings
On Android, this is on the top right near the Plus (+) symbol. On iPhone, this is on the top left corner. Tap on this to set your work hours, to zoom in (15-min blocks) or zoom out (30-min blocks) on the calendar, to switch which provider's calendar you are viewing, and to turn on or off push notifications for the specific calendar.

Month view

Specific elements unique to the Month view of the calendar.

Each number below corresponds to the number in the image above.

1. Month
The current month you are viewing.

2. Month calendar
All days in the current month you are viewing. Faded day numbers are days from the previous or next month. Tap on dates to view appointments for that day.

3. Current date selected
The date of the day selected to view in the Month view.

4. Appointment time
The start and end time of an appointment on the current date selected in the Month view.

5. Appointment information
The name of the client and the service booked for the appointment. Tapping on the appointment information will open the appointment for details and to edit.

6. Appointment list
List of all appointments on the current day selected in the Month view. This will include personal appointments and Google appointments included in the Google Calendar sync, if enabled on your account.

7. Current day indicator
The current day selected in the Month view is indicated by a green circle with white date number.

8. Present day indicator
The present day is indicated by a gold circle if you have another day selected to view.

9. Appointments dot
The dot below a date indicates that day has appointments. This only counts Schedulista service appointments and does not include personal appointments or Google appointments included in the Google Calendar sync, if enabled on your account.
