Schedulista is designed to make your services continually available based on your availability. You can limit which times of the day and which days of the week your services are offered by setting specific appointment times. You can also set specific times for specific services.

If you need to make a service available only for a specific period of time, the Limited Time Event feature for services allows you to limit the availability of a service between two dates, or even just to a single date.

Benefits of limited time events

  • Provide special offers or discounted rates for short periods of time

  • Define seasonal services

  • Set the start date of a service that is not yet available

  • Set the end date of a service being retired

  • Limit a service to a single day of availability

The Limited Time Event feature defines the dates that a service is available to book rather than when the booking can be done for a service.

For example, if an offer is set from 1/19 to 2/19, only appointment times between those two dates will show as available to select. The act of booking can be done at any time leading up to and through those dates per your scheduling policies.

Setting a limited time event

(1) On the web app: Go to Settings > Services / Classes / Events 

On the mobile app (version 7.3 or above): Tap on Services / Classes / Events under the Configure section on the Settings tab

(2a) Click or tap Edit next to an existing service; or

(2b) Click or tap Add Service / Class / Event to create a new service

(3) Scroll down to the Limited Time Event section

(4) Click or tap the No button to change it to Yes

(5) Enter the dates you'd like your offer to start and end

Note: You can make a limited time offer available for a single day by
setting the start date and the end date as the same day.

(6) On the web app: Click Save at the bottom of the page

On the mobile app: Tap Save at the bottom of the page, then tap Close at the top to return to the Settings tab

Note: You can further limit service availability (e.g., available only 
at certain times or on certain days of the week) on the Scheduling
Policies settings page.

Setting a limited time event for a single date

To make a service available for just a single day, follow the steps above and set the start date of the limited time event and the end date for the same date.
