Schedulista's integration with Facebook allows you to add a Book Now button to your Facebook business page to make it easier for clients to book with you. The button will appear on the web and in the Facebook mobile app.

You can add a new button to your page or edit an existing button. You can also add this through the Facebook mobile app.

Requirements

The Book Now button requires a Facebook/Meta business account. This includes a Facebook business page, a Facebook/Meta Ads account, and a Facebook/Meta Pixel to track conversions through ads.

A business account was set up when you created your Facebook business page.

While connecting your Schedulista account to the Book Now button, Facebook will ask you to select the Facebook/Meta business page, Ads account, and Pixel associated with the login email address for your Facebook account. If you do not have these setup yet, it will ask you to create a Facebook/Meta Ads account for this purpose.

Changing the associated Facebook/Meta business account

If you need to change the Facebook/Meta business account associated with your login email address after it has been selected, you will need to contact Meta support for assistance. To contact Meta support, visit your business account through the Meta Business Suite manager here: https://business.facebook.com

Click Help on the bottom left of the page. Select Help from the menu that appears. A new panel will appear on the right side of the page. Click the Contact support team button in the panel to send a message to support through Facebook/Meta Messenger.

Another helpful tool might be the Facebook Ads Manager. Click here for general assistance on Facebook/Meta advertising.

Note: If you have an Instagram business profile associated with your Facebook/Meta business account, it will auto connect to the Instagram profile as well when setting up the Book Now button. This will still require you to add/select the Book Now button on your Instagram profile.

Adding a new button

(1) While editing your Facebook business page, click the three-dot (...) options button below the action, Manage, and Edit buttons on the top right page below your cover photo

Note: On some Facebook pages, a blue Add a button button appears at the
top of the page below the cover photo. If available, click this button.

(2) On the Action Button dialog, select the Book Now option, then click Next

(3) Click Connect Another Tool

(4) Scroll through the list of available tools and select Schedulista

(5) On the permissions page, click Continue

(6) A dialog will pop up to log into your Schedulista account

Note: Sign In with Google option

The Sign In with Google option may not work to connect your Schedulista account to the Book Now button in Facebook. If not, you'll need to use Schedulista-specific email and password credentials to sign in.

If you don't have these for your account, tap the Forgot password link on the login page. Enter your Gmail address when it asks for your account login email address. An email will be sent to your Gmail account with a link to click to set/reset your Schedulista-specific password. (This will not affect the password you use for your Google/Gmail account.)

Once the password is set, you'll be able to sign in using the Email and Password fields to connect the button.

You will still be able to use Google Sign-In for your account on Schedulista.com and the Schedulista mobile app.

(7) A dialog will appear to confirm the Facebook/Meta Business page, Facebook/Meta Ads Account, and the Facebook/Meta Pixel to which you are linking the Book Now button. Click on either of the options to make changes.

When you're done, click Continue

This should now link the button to your scheduler.

Editing an existing button

You might already have a button ("Learn More", "Call Us", etc.) added to your Facebook business page. You can replace this button with the Book Now button.

(1) While editing your Facebook business page, click the three-dot (...) options button below the action, Manage, and Edit buttons on the top right page below your cover photo

(2) Select Edit Action Button from the menu that appears

(3) In the Edit Action Button dialog box, click Change Button

(4) On the Action Button dialog, select the Book Now option, then click Next

(5) Click Connect Another Tool

(6) Scroll through the list of available tools and select Schedulista

(7) On the permissions page, click Continue

(8) A dialog will pop up to log into your Schedulista account

(9) A dialog will appear to confirm the Facebook Business page, Facebook Ad Account, and the Facebook Pixel to which you are linking the Book Now button. Click on either of the options to make changes.

When you're done, click Continue

This should now link the button to your scheduler and update the button on your page to the Book Now button.
